We are excited to announce we are starting a new Hockey Heroes Course at Herne Bay Sports Hub. See the email below for more details. We are keen that our members sign up to enjoy this experience but also that we encourage some new children to join our club, so please share this and our related social media posts with all your friends and family. Hockey Heroes is a fun and welcoming programme aimed at children aged 5-8 that aims to develop both their physical and character ‘superpowers’, unlocking the hero inside them!

Hockey Heroes is a 8 week hockey programme aimed at beginners that not only focuses on helping children develop some physical hockey superpowers such as dribbling, passing and goal scoring, but also places as much emphasis on character development superpowers including teamwork, communication, perseverance and respect.

Our aim is for children to have lots of fun, experience lots of success, and feel like a hero! This will boost their confidence and ensure a positive experience of physical activity and sport that will have a beneficial effect in the rest of their life.

It costs £40 for 8 sessions; included in that you also get 2 sticks, a ball and a personalised t-shirt!! It is a great way to get started in our brilliant sport.

At HBHC we are running our first Hockey Heroes course on Friday 10th June at 4.30pm. The session is an hour long and will be this time every Friday until 15th July (3rd June Jubilee bank holiday weekend excluded).
