To all Members

We are getting closer to returning to play, but one prerequisite from England Hockey is that ALL members have to complete a PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT. It’s a very simple

No one should participate in any hockey activity without signing the Participant Agreement in advance. England Hockey and Herne Bay Hockey Club have access to the list of who has completed this from.

If for any reason you are not comfortable completing this form for any reason, or have any concerns then please contact our Welfare offices Sharon or Sally via email at hbhcwelfare@gmail.com, or speak to your captain.

Parents or guardians are required to complete this for anyone U18.

We are required by England Hockey to supply them an attendance list for all training session and all matches. More information on this will be circulated soon.

For more information EH do a great short video explaining the current EH Guidelines  https://youtu.be/E-8Bax0-wN

HBHC : COVID-19 Coronavirus Update 3 13/03/20

Please note that this update is in addition to all previous advice and recommendations from HBHC.

At present all community hockey will take place as scheduled this weekend unless in the coming hours the government or our local league determines otherwise.

In line with government advice please stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

· a high temperature

· a new, continuous cough

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

Captains to liaise with their team and opposition to determine whether tea arrangements and convening at club houses have now changed for them.

We suggest that sharing of kit is avoided. Face masks are washed with soap and water or a sanitiser such as a antiseptic wipe before and after a game.

We recommend in the coming weeks that all players, officials and visitors that consider themselves as a vulnerable group consider whether they should be taking part and discuss their concerns and availability with their respective team captains.
