After a fantastic journey filled with Diversions and a start time that meant we were up earlier than we are on a workday Bay at least came away with three points.

Surprisingly Bay started the better considering half the team literally stepped out of the car and onto the pitch and after five mins Andrew Harrison continued his fine run of goal scoring with a smart finish off a Tim Freeman cross into the D (I say cross, he was aiming elsewhere but it ended up in D).
Bay had to do a lot of defending against a really experienced but skilful Sevenoaks midfield including a former national league player who while getting on a bit had the fastest hands I'd seen. Said player drawing two brilliant saves from Andrew Marsh in goal one save from a drag flick was simply brilliant.
The second half started in a similar vein with Bay starting strong and ball into the D from Stephen Collins was again latched onto by Andrew Harrison. Two-nil up having had two shots.
The last fifteen minutes it was all Sevenoaks as they camped out in the Bay half, eventually, Bay did concede from a particularly good move by the opposition.
Bay somehow hung on despite two short corners in the last few minutes, Clive Cripps on the sidelines couldn't watch but we did it.

Excellent result and a really good game against a nice bunch of blokes, good tea also when we finally got to the clubhouse.
So a good result but the consensus between the four of us in our car after about two hours was, that's too bloody far to go for a hockey match.
